On wednesday 19 October ex-student and Paralympic Gold medallist James Fox came into school on Wednesday whilst in between the Olympic parades in Manchester and London (including a visit to Buckingham Palace) and travelling to the USA to take part in another rowing race this weekend.

Once again Vivacity is offering a great range of activities for children aged 4-11 at this half term's 'Club Viva' at Jack Hunt School.

On Monday 26 September, in celebration of the annual European Day of Languages the MFL staff encouraged students to take part in the competition organised by the Association of Language Learning to recognise the 180 year anniversary of Rowland Hill's 1837 Postal Reform.

Last Friday, 30 September, Head of Curie House Mrs Davison organised the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.

On Tuesday 20 September Apprenticeship providers and Universities were invited in to school for an Education & Careers Fair for Year 12 and 13 students.
